Encantado is seeking someone who is interested in consistently working in new and different technologies. Our network is primarily RedHat Linux based. We work on projects critical to National Security and are exposed daily to emerging technologies. A candidate who isn’t afraid to take a deep dive into these new technologies and get hands on would be ideal.

Candidate will be responsible for Architecting our Linux Server environment.

We primary run RedHat and utilize Ansible for automating tasks.

Experience with containerization would be a huge plus.

The candidate should be strong in scripting and very comfortable with Python.

• Education/Experience BA/BS in CS or other IT related field plus 10 Years of relevant work experience
• Must be a US Citizenship
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy Q security clearance.

Required skills: 

• BS/BA in a relevant STEM field and 10 years of related experience; OR equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
• Linux Server System Administration & UNIX experience at least 1-3 years
• Familiarity with network protocols and network management technologies
• Ability to define systems requirements based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with customers and vendors
• Automation platforms such as Ansible, VMware, Python at least 1-3 years
• Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment

Desired skills:

• Windows system administration experience at least 1-3 years
• Experience leading and implementing large technical solutions
• RHCE/CCNA
• Experience in Bash, PowerShell, or other scripting language for automating SysAdmin tasks or troubleshooting existing processes
• Experience with container technology, such as Kubernetes, RKE, Docker, etc.
• Virtualization, servers, storage, and networking equipment experience
• ESXI experience
• Experience working on and designing ground system architectures on US Govt Programs
